Celebrity Travel Spotlight: Angela McCluskey

“The Roxy Sessions” by chart topping vocalist Angela McCluskey was recently released. Angela has worked with Telepopmusik on several cuts, including the Grammy Nominated worldwide #1 hit “Breathe.”
Angela was inspired to salute the decadent nostalgia of the prohibition era after recording a track for the HBO hit show “Boardwalk Empire.” Here are some of her favorite places in the country…

My favorite place in the U.S. to visit is…Big Sur as I find it a magical terrain to just drive through. Then stopping at the Pheonix restaurant looking out over the ocean with a dry martini, ain’t nothing like it!

The first thing I do when I go to Big Sur is…I find a great place to stay, like a cabin in the woods. Everyone should visit  Big Sur because it literally is life changing –the sight and all the senses are on red alert with the stature and magnificence of it all. Even a spiritual vibe overcomes you as you take it all in.
Seattle...is a pleasant surprise… because it’s filled with little communities dedicated to food or drink or music, every other corner has yet another place you want to explore.
My favorite restaurant in the U.S. is…The Waverly inn in NYC it’s just the most romantic. Fires burning candles glowing chicken pot pie ahhh…
The best place to find…great Mexican is Olvera Street in L.A., their secret alley that takes you back 100 years.
My favorite place for taco is…a truck stop on Vermont in Hollywood– lines round the block.
Some great towns people may not know about that they should visit are …Portland is a brilliant —you’ll find very hip, very chilled super great people and beautiful River running through it.

A great truck stop is…Hoover Dam there used to be a diner there called Rose’s diner we even emptied our gear out and did a impromptu show for the locals in their cowboy hats and jeans.

My favorite airport is…Jet Blue at JFK great shops and super hip eateries and Massage — everything has been thought of.
