The first thing I do when I go to Laguna is… I check in to the Laguna Reef Hotel and go for a walk on the beach.
Everyone should visit…the Laguna Art Festival…at least once. You sit in a beautiful, outdoor theater at night and watch as they show you scenes from the classic, most celebrated and famous fine art paintings, made from people who are painted, posed and on the life size sets and backgrounds, found in the actual paintings. It is breathtaking. Of coarse this is accompanied by famous classical music, performed by the symphony, in the orchestral pit, just as if you were at the Hollywood Bowl or an Opera.
A pleasant surprise was…the waterfront in Detroit Michigan.
My favorite restaurant in the U.S. is…the most famous Mexican Restaurant in San Antonio, Texas.
The best place to find… Alfredo Pasta with chicken…is at…the Olive Garden in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Some great towns people may not know about to visit are…Renosa and Laredo Texas, because it’s a border town and there is so much to do and so much good food and on the border of Texas.
My favorite road trip truck stop is…any truck stop on the way to Las Vegas from Los Angeles, they’re all fantastic. They have great chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, pie and coffee.
My favorite airport in the US is…DFW. So much good food, shopping and so many friendly people, you have to be careful and not miss your flight.
I want to be taken through the south and eat and sleep in the old, southern hotels and restaurants. I want to go to NYC and stay in the finest hotel, go to a top play, see the top broadway show and ride in a horse drawn carriage through Central Park!
