I often see ready-made pizza dough sitting in the refrigerated section at Trader Joe’s and decided to try making pizza, so I bought goat cheese mozzarella there and a jar of Trader Joe’s marinara sauce.
- Trader Joe’s ready-made pizza dough
- Trader Joe’s Marinara sauce
- Goat cheese mozzarella
- Fresh basil
The dough can be cut into 4 smaller individual pies, but know that these will be small snack-sized portions. I froze some dough and cheese for another time.
Made the pizza as flat as possible. It’s quite elastic and supposedly people say to let the dough rest and it should help you roll or stretch the dough out. Add sauce and broke chunks of mozzarella cheese and into the oven at 425. I just checked when it looked ready! Topped with fresh basil, also bought at Trader Joe’s.
While I prefer Trader Joe’s frozen Trader Giotto’s Margherita Pizza, this is a quick an easy pizza in a pinch if you have the ingredients in the freezer and cupboard.
